Who we are

What we collect

Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name as Google provides it. Your practice results: which words you practised, what you typed, whether it was right, and when. Settings you choose, such as British or American spelling. Reports you send about words. Progress files you upload from the old trainer. Basic technical records needed to run the service securely, such as sign-in times.

Guest practice uses a temporary account stored in your browser, without an email address.

Why we use it

To run your account, save your progress, choose which words to give you next, stop misuse (for example, copying the word bank), fix mistakes in words you report, and, if you ask us to, tell you when paid plans open.

Who processes it for us

Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (website hosting), Google (only if you choose Google sign-in), [email sending service] (sign-in emails) and, when payments open, [payment provider]. Word audio is made by your own browser and device; it is not sent to us.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, your progress, reports and uploads are deleted straight away. Guest accounts with no activity are deleted after [30] days.

Your choices and rights

You can download your own progress and delete your account at any time from your account page. You can also write to us to see, correct or delete your data.

Cookies and browser storage

We store your sign-in in your browser so you stay signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and tell account holders about important changes by email.
